CAMP OFFICE ON THE BANKS OF THE RAVI:
Guru Roop Khalsa ji, Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa, Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh,
I feel proud to congratulate you ‘on behalf of the Panthic Committee of which I am a member, for organizing such a representative global meet in the United States which has the unique distinction of being the melting pot of the world and a standard bearer of human rights (right to life and liberty and freedom of conscience) a true democracy conducive to the full flowering of the human personality.
I regret my inability to be personally present in your midst. Hence this message to be read before the delegate sessions.
The Senior Sikh Sophisticates Forum Chandigarh initiated discussions Khalistan, on 2.9.1979 and ending on 1.2.1981. The six seminars organised at the state headquarters from a civil platform and in a short span of one year and five months picked up hell because of the pronounced, caste allergy to the word Sikh or anything smelling of the Khalsa or its birth place Shri Anandpur Sahib has been an anthemia to caste ridden, Brahmin hegemony in India.
The characteristic Sikh vigor with which the Sikh spirit imbibed the essence of the word Khalistan and the readiness with which the Sikh youth give their dedication and their blood to it, threw the hegemonist brahmin and his proxy govt of India, head over heels, into a dastardly and disastrous course of operations Blue Star and Woodrose, genocides of Sikhs during massacres misnamed Delhi riots in the early days of November 1984 and continued killing of Sikh youth in fake encounters.
This bloody affair led to international shock waves whose explosive force was enhanced and multiplied by the Brahmin pseudo speak and disinformation. The result is the eruption of present Kashmir unrest which had beer. Latent so long and the reemergence of Naxalite violence, Gorkha land and the Bodo agitation etc.
The breaking out of the movement for democracy and ethnic freedom, the world over, especially, it’s out break in the communist dominated areas of Europe. The association of Muslim priest, Shahi Imam, Syed Abdula Bukhari of Delhi with the last seminar, Khalistan! Why not, particularly incensed the caste Hindu dispensation in India and their reactions to Khalistan became more maddened,
The World Sikh community gave a full blooded human response to the total war declared by the brahmin controlled Govt of India on the Sikh faith and polity, including the total distraction of Sikh religious institutions, their culture and homeland using all means including the use of the nighty Bhakhya and Beas dam reservoirs as a weapon of mass instruction.
The world community, however, remained sedated with Brahmin pseudo speaker and govt of India’s campaign of disinformation, The Sikhs fought back, with their backs to the wall without the Khalistan Radio and other media like the press, to tell their side of the story. The overseas Sikhs have borne their share of the burden intrudingly.
The suppression of Sikhs human rights alone attracted the attention of the world community. The fact that the proxy govt of India’s suppressing the Sikh faith and carrying out a systematic genocide of Sikhs remained obscured rom the gaze of the world. Freedom of religion and home land for: nation (Sikh) is prime concerns of the United Nations organization and should be pleaded as such. The Panthic committee proposes 0 take action on these lines and more.
Late in September 1988, and on top of heavy rains and floods in Punjab, the proxy govt of India surreptiously made use of the mighty Bhakhra and Beas dams reservoirs as a weapon of mass destruction aimed at total destruction of the Sikh homeland, thus disposing of the problem of Khalistan, lock, stock and barrel. The panthic committee has already issued a notification in this regard and deputed the under signed along with two other members of Panthic committee to take this matter to the security council of the UNO and this small initiative by the Panthic Committee restrained the govt of India from using the mighty Bhakhra and Beas reservoir as a weapon of mass destruction in 1989 A.D for which preliminary steps had actually been initiated by vacating. Some of the villages along the river. This world Sikh meet will do well to strike issues in clear and lucid terms, that the Sikhs are in fact freedom fighters Sant Siphais (some of whom do not use even tea, do not eat meat or given to drinking and other intoxicants) fighting for a homeland of hegemonist brahmin and his proxy govt of India, fighting for their own survival and that of their homeland.
It is requested that this World Sikh Conference take action on the following specific points through resolutions.
- The issues to be raised are that the Sikh religion is being suppressed by the govt of India,
- The Sikh community faces annihilation;
- That the Sikh homeland is also proposed to be destroyed by using all means including to use of Bhakhra and Beas dam reservoirs to drown the land with its people, 1988’s flooding of 50,000 hectares of cultivated lands has covered it by 4 to 8 feet thick deposit of sand.
- Some Sikh political leaders like Dr. Jagjit Singh Chohan, Council of Khalistan, London, Bhai Manjit Singh of AISSF, Amritsar, Bhai Jasbir Singh Rode, Dist. Faridkot, Punjab and Akali leaders to desist from towing the line of govt of India and get out of the way of Khalistan.
- Appeal to the Sikh public to boycott those magazines and newspapers who have an anti Khalistan stance like the Des Pardes, Awaza quame etc. This has to be done through specific resolutions to be drafted by the delegates committee.
- This World Sikh Congress must constitute the Sikh intectuals form or a Sikh think tank and undertake regular measures to bring about sophistication in Sikh politics.
Lastly, this World Sikh Conference should also call the spade a spade, we have many Panthic committees’ and unless discouraged authoritatively by the Sikh public opinion these committees will continue to breed and sap the energies of the Sikh nation.
Guru Panth Da Dass Dr. Sohan Singh
