BAHRAIN (PTI): Pakistan’s defence minister Syed Ghaus Ali Shah has ruled out a war with India over the Kashmir issue, “We are trying our best for a peaceful solution and I have a feeling that peace will prevail. The use of force will not benefit any of the two countries,” Shah who is currently in Abu Dhabi attending the international defence exhibition, told “Khaleej Times’ in an interview published Feb.18.

“The sad part is that we (India and Pakistan) have had three wars, but the (Kashmir) dispute still exists,” he said. Reiterating Pakistan’s call to India to accept the nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT), Shah said “our approach is to make the

South East Asian region nuclear free.”
