ISLAMABAD (PTI): Pakistan on Dec.2 said it would not close its nuclear option unilaterally till an equitable and non-discriminatory nuclear non-proliferation regime was achieved in south Asia
If India which exploded a nuclear device in 1974 decided to go in for nuclear weapons Pakistan would have to reconsider the situation.
Aid to Pakistan was discontinued in October 1990 under the Pressler amendment on the suspicion that Pakistan’s nuclear program was weapon oriented. Islamabad has repeatedly denied the charge.
