HABIRIBAGH: The Union Home Minister, Mugti Mohammed Syed, said India would have to take strong measures if Pakistan, continued to abet “terrorism” in Punjab and Kashmir.
Talking to newsmen, he said the Govt had already conveyed its protest to the Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto through her special envoy Abdul Sattar when he visited Delhi recently.
He said, he viewed the Kashmiri problem as a law and order issue which could be tackled by the efforts of the state Govt and the center. He requested the allegation that the situation had deteriorated after the abduction of his daughter. He underscored the need for normalcy in Kashmir.
