FREMONT.CA: the Northern California graduates of Punjab Agriculture University held a family picnic and get together at Lake “Elizabeth in Fremont Central Park “On Sunday, Oct. 9, 1994.
The members of more than 45 families gathered to play games, share food and learn more about their culture and heritage. The children enjoyed playing soccer, tug-of-war and water balloons, the Men played volley ball and the ladies had a musical chairs race everyone had a wonderful time. The sponsors said that events like these help to preserve and protect the proud cultural heritage of our children. They are looking forward to planning future events of this kind.
