Dear Dr. Aulakh,

Your newsletter dated Sept. 15, 1994 as well as the articles published in World Sikh News of Sept. 16, 1994 are very disappointing to us. It pained “us to see that you could not show due respect to even the person occupying the highest seat of Sikh religious and temporal /Authority. If you had any differences with him, we wish you had I kept quiet. We have always appreciated your work of lobbying in pursuing it he Sikh cause. This was in spite of the fact that you have been «denigrating most of the other Panthic leaders who refused to accept you as the sole Sikh leader. However, this latest newsletter has gone beyond any sense of decency. This sole act of yours has \brought you down to the level of traitor to the Sikh cause, who, by pretending to be a believer in the cause, is responsible for creating disunity .and chaos.

Is this how you prove your intrinsic worth by reviling other leaders? If so, 1 am sorry to say, you have proven to be unworthy of the leadership role thrust upon your shoulders, We need a leader who with “hosh” and reason can justify the creation of Khalistan; who can show, by example, that we are the actual deserving inheritors of “Khalsa Raj.”” If we were the embodiment of Khalsa ‘we would not have to beg for Khalistan from those in power in India. Waheguru Himself would present Khalistan to us if we became worthy recipients.

You have also compared Prof, Manjit Singh to Aroor Singh whom you have referred to as “Jathedar” of Sri Akal Takht and who presented “Saropa” to General Dyer, You have perhaps conveniently ignored that Aroor Singh was not a Jathedar appointed by any Panthic organization. He was foisted on Sri Akal Takht as “Custodian” with the connivance and support of the then British rulers to meet their own nefarious ends.

We would now like you to recant all the allegations and mudslinging that has gone in your newsletter; we earnestly wish to see you raise above this mess and show, by your actions, that indeed you are a leader worthy of our respect. If you fail to take adequate action, please remove our names from your list of supporters. Manmohan Singh Anaheim, CA.
