In the House of Commons debate on 16 April, 1985, you quite IRRELEVANTLY and UNWISELY mentioned Punjab while speaking about the US action in Libya. I ‘Wish to ask you just two questions:

  1. What do you know of Punjab?
  2. Who told you that?

I do realize that you, like most Indians living in this country, have ‘been exposed to one and only one source of information for all what you know of India, that source being the real TERRORISTS, the Government of India, who have perpetuated the chair of Prime Minister in ONE family, and consider everyone else to be the dust under their feet.

You are a great democrat yet you believe that democracy in any country can be handed down from father to daughter to son ad infinitum, You are a champion in civil liberty but did NOT realize that the Government of India has been speaking to their own citizens, to unarmed civilians, through the barrel of gun both in Kashmir and Punjab, The latest PUBLIC announcement by the Punjab Police Chief, Mr. Julius Ribeiro is, “For one of us killed, we will kill FOUR of them.” Is THIS the voice of a PEOPLE’S government set on a course of reconciliation, reform, education, liberty, well-being, of their OWN citizens?

The agitation of the people of Punjab, begging their native rulers in “free” India for petty concessions reached a climax in June 1984 when the “democratically elected” dictator of India (showing ‘as much regard for her subjects as the democratically elected Hitler, Du Valier or Marcos did) sent 100,000 troops to invade and TERRORISE the entire State, not only the Golden Temple, Do you know how many THOUSANDS were killed? What was the human loss in Libya in comparison? Do you know how their bodies were disposed of? Do you know if any prisoners were taken? Have you ever set foot in the Land of Five Rivers?

Mrs. Thatcher might have done something wrong to which you took such a sharp exception but she has NEVER said a word to ‘groom her own son for her chair (that would be stinking NEPOTISM!), to gag the press, to impose censorship in this country, to kick out the foreign correspondents from Northern Ireland, or to refuse entry 10 the Members of Parliament from India yet. Compared to your fellow socialist Rajiv Gandhi, she is an ANGEL.

May I know how you OUGHT to have reacted to the terrible brutality and savagery of the GOVERNMENT of India who were DIRECTLY responsible for the murder of thousands of INNOCENT Sikhs throughout India in the wake of the assassination of Mrs. Indira Gandhi on the Halloween of 19842?

Each Indian, especially the Sikhs from Punjab, now resident in the United Kingdom, will react to your mention of Punjab (which he left when life got hopelessly disgusting there) according to his ‘own sense of honor, self-respect and courage. And I hope your mailbag proves that the Punjabis, especially the Sikhs in this country, are an honorable lot and not the scum of mankind to take lying down the military occupation of that State, the suppression of civil liberties by a TERRORIST Government and all that filth of politics in India right from KASHMIR through East Bengal to Tamil Nadu. Britain will be ashamed of such immigrants who came here ONLY to earn a few pennies and never acquired self-respect like their fellow citizens with whom they seek EQUALITY.

I have studied this bird call INDIA with keen interest and here is a resume of my observations on the ‘two aspects which the Government of that country is at pains to put across to the entire world:

  1. UNITY OF INDIA.

To start with I do not see the bird united. Its crown (North Kashmir), and both wings Sialkot (in Punjab) and Sylhet (formerly in ‘Assam), were dismembered by a small minority WITHIN. The bird followed the love call given by a senile fraud called Gandhi (no relation of the present Gandhi) and an EGO CENTRIC Pandit (grandfather of the present Ganhi), and became a mouse in front of that minority (who is congratulated for their fore, and far sight), and surrendered UNOONDITIONALLY both Secularism and Unity (the live Lyric calls it “EKTA”) in my name, YOUR name, everybody’s name and even in the name of the Indians not yet born, and FOR EVER. Great Socialist leaders, Kings and Queens were reduced to be mere spectators when my fellow citizens in Lahore, Pindi and Peshawar PREVAILED over India’s MAJORITY community with only kitchen knives in their hands anything more lethal being held by the British. Surely your constituents have gone past the flag of East Bengal somewhere in London with extreme respect.

I hope that the people of India never remove the bandage from their eyes, never get a free “All

India Radio” and a free Indian State Television Company. If they do, then the mutilated rump of that bird will start cooking on coal fire.

For us in Britain though, there are other issues to look at realistically and NOT through the eyes of opportunism. We should support the Sikh FREEDOM fighters as we support the Afghan freedom fighters. We should link their struggles since the Soviet Union and India are linked to each other i their ideological embrace.

  1. Our commercial interests will be safe even when there are three or ten independent countries in place of “India” which was held together by the Sword of Islam and the Guns of Britain during the last 1,000 years. Belgium and Holland, both Christian and lying not a centimeter away from each other, are not prepared to look at “Unity”. Why should Punjab and Kerala which are 1,500 miles apart and as different from each other as Britain from Bulgaria?
  2. India is the world’s most alarming ideological and political vacuum in South Asia and the Indian Ocean. She MUST, therefore, very soon invite aggression from some quarter whose nature we should fore-see today. Britain must not get spell-bound or anesthetized by any Indian love lyric but act responsibly and firmly compatible with their global role before the Soviet Union does. The stakes are high. Khalistan, I believe, will be Britain’s best partner, customer, friend and ally.

Today when I ask one of them (my former fellow citizens in Kara chi, Gujranwala, Quetta or Lyallpur), “Where do you come from?” the answer is a slap across the face of every Rajiv Gandhi, every Indian, and a spit vomited ‘on his mother’s tomb (who did NOT mention UNITY to East Bengal in Jan. 1971). The answer, as you rightly guessed, is, “PAKISTAN”, After that concession the ‘only moral thing to do was NOT to call the Sikhs of Punjab “terrorists” but to concede KHALISTAN and KASHMIR what was conceded to Noakhali and Sylhet.

  1. THE “TERRORISTS” OF PUNJAB

It was unfair if not downright opportunist of you to imply that the Sikhs of Punjab are terrorists. This sort of people, who are brainwashed by the propaganda of the establishment, even crucified Jesus Christ, calling him “terrorists”. But you may, if you wish, persist in your opinion, In England no one will tie your hands behind your back and shoot as they did in “free” India to teenagers in the precincts ‘of Golden Temple. Of one thing I am sure:

The people now inhabiting that mutilated rump of a country and beating the Sikhs with the whip of Unity will rise one day, ‘smash all the statues of “Mahatma” Gandhi, cry for his trial for High Treason in 1947 and oust Rajiv Gandhi whose qualification to the throne is one disreputable word NEPOTISM.

South Asia, Mr. Kinnock, is in a new fervor. The impoverished, exploited, brainwashed and TERRORISED people kept subservient by their OWN rulers are waking up. They are going to find ‘out who betrayed India and who, while appealing for the “Hindu vote” has himself KICKED OUT Hinduism out of the very top house in India, The people may not have realized yet that Rajiv is a Parsi and his entire family are Roman Catholic.

  1. Finally, the Indians’ standing with the general British public is very low indeed, on one count and hence Commission for Racial Equality and all that legislation and ‘mushrooming anti-racist lobby is needed to ensure equal treatment for us, the UNEQUALS. When a Polish general or a Russian leader tums up here, the immigrants from his country rush to Heathrow airport with rotten eggs, shoes and abuse, But when Rajiv Gandhi lands here, his fellow Indians flock there for “darshan” (reverential sighting!) to garland him and vie with one another to get photographed standing closest to him. The British public knows the truth and will crush the morally coward and politically gutless “Asians” amidst us half of whom wear a coin with two “Ls” round their necks: one side showing Love for the British way of life, and the other showing Love for the Indian subservience, and the other half ‘wear a coin with two “Cs”: CONGRESS to show at Heathrow and CONSERVATIVE to show in the High Street.

I must end this observation now. I notice smoke rising from the mutilated rump of that bird in the distance, Perhaps a “terrorist” Sikh has struck a match, or is it a spark thrown by a Hindu Tamil Tiger in Madras on his way to Sri Lanka, or is it across the new fence between Assam and Sylhet, or ‘over the Wagah FRONTIER (the natives call it “border”), or was it a Chinese “brother” of Pandit Nehru reconnoitering Aksai Chin to re-locate the veterans of the Battle of Golden Temple, India’s 4th Infantry Division? I must resume my watch. The bird, I must reiterate, was UNITED and ONE, and there was NO terrorist in Punjab so long as the British were there. Now it’s in the throes of death.

Is there a way out for the world’s biggest banana republic turned the stinking sub-continent of S.H.I.T (Savagery, Hate, Immorality and Trickery) where the NATIVE Vatican lies in-ruins, where the STATE HAS BECOME A TERRORIST, where the FINEST young men (the winners of EIGHT Victoria Crosses in an earlier generation and producers of enough com to feed 60% of the Indians in this generation) are being blown to bits by General Sunderji’s eunuchs in uniform, and whose official line on any issue of the Middle East is the Voice of Mr. ‘Arafat and Colonel Gadaffy?

YES! Please suggest to Raj Gandhi to de-nationalize All India Radio to enable his wretched subjects to hear someone else besides the FUHRER.

With best personal regards.

Yours faithfully, Rajinder Singh
