We the Muslims of North America call upon your highness to take notice of the recent demolition and disrespect of Muslim Holy places, such as Charar-e-Shrief by the Indian Armed Forces. This is third in the series of demolition of the most sacred Muslim shrines, first being Barbari Mosque, second Hazrat Bal in Sri Nagar, and now Charar-e-Shrief.
As you are aware of the fact that Indian government is using Sikhs in the armed forces to attack religious shrines of the minorities, including the Golden Temple,
We therefore call upon your highness to condemn the incidents and issue a Fatawa (Hukamnama) to Sikhs in the armed forces to respect the holy shrines of all the religions, and not to participate in desecration of the Holy Shrines.
