Bangalore: Hindu Nazis among upper castes are making a propaganda that Sikh “terrorists” are killing “innocent” Hindus in Punjab. This is a big lie and India’s largest circulated “national” English daily has said this:
‘Chandigarh: Even as various terrorist groups in the state claim to be fighting for Khalistan and continually accuse the govt. of perpetuating genocide on the Sikhs, more than 80% of those killed by the terrorists are Sikhs themselves. This includes the police and Para-military personnel. Figures available here indicate that in January 88.55% of the terrorists victims were Sikhs, whereas of all those killed till date 83.9% have been Sikhs. As to the civilians and policemen killed in Taran Taran police district (Amritsar) last year, 201 out of the 238 killed by terrorists were Sikhs, while 37 were Hindus. ‘A number of reasons are given for this; the killings are mostly in rural areas where there is a concentration of the Sikhs, most of the Hindus having long migrated from the villages. Those killed on suspicion of being police informers are also mostly Sikhs, while killings are also resorted to by Sikh farmers for settling personal scores. Most of the policemen killed are Sikhs since they predominantly comprise the state’s police force. (Times of India, Feb 15).
What is going on in Punjab today is Sikhs are eliminating their internal enemies — meaning Sikhs acting as agents of Nazis Without first resolving the internal contradictions; it is not possible to eliminate the external contradictions.
