Sir,

Over the past 23 years I have purchased and studied several books on the subject of “Sikh politics” some of these were heavily promoted by publishers and others seemed promising to provide some answers.

To say the least, I am disappointed with many, and incensed and angry with quite a few. Some

of the books have deceitful titles, and some particularly with collections of essays, are the biggest fraud and rubbish I have come across. The Editors do not explain as to why they included those essays: the essays are too many; and some have the quality of composition which seems plagiarized by poor students.

I want to share this information with your readers (1) to warn them, (2) to generate some curiosity, and (3) to see if some might take up the challenge and write their own!
