NEW DELHI: A designated court dealing with the hawala cases here issued a notice to the CBI to file a reply on an anticipatory bail application moved by a former minister, Chand)Ram, who was charge sheeted by the agency in the multi crore Jain hawala case.
. Ram, in his plea to the special judge ; V.B. Gupta, said that he was “falsely” implicated/in the case due to “political reasons only after he announced his decision on March 28, in a rally at Rohtak, to quit the Congress party and join the Congress (Tiwari).
