By Our Correspondent AMRITSAR: Daljit Singh Sidhu the coordinator of All India Sikh Students Federation retreated his organizations commitment for establishing a free and sovereign Khalistan.
In a press statement he expressed his surprise at a ambiguous Statement attributed to the detained AISSF leader Harminder Singh Sandhu. Sandhu is alleged to have said that Sikhs want halimi taj (just rule). This could have implied such a rule within India.
In his statement Daljit Singh said that “nothing less than Khalistan” would meet the aspirations of the Sikhs.
