RANCHE: Opposition Janata Dal has suffered a setback following the Jharkhand party’s decision to contest at least 19 seats from the Jharkhand dominated constituencies in Bihar, West Benegal, Orissa and Madhya Pradesh.

Jharkhand Party Chief N E Horo said in this city that adjustment of seats among the Jhark hand Mukti Morcha and Jhark hand Kranti Dal (Revolutionary Party) would not be affected by the decision.

He completely ruled out the possibility of seat adjustment with the Janata Dal and rightwing Bhartiya Janata adjustment with Janata Dal and rightwing Bhartiya Janata Party.

The Janata Dal and one faction of JMM had, however, recently announced in Calcutta that the two parties and Jharkhand coordination committee JCC would go in for poll alliance in the Jhark hand constituencies PTI.
