PATIALA: The Akal Federation has said that the Punjab problem could not be solved within the framework of the Indian Constitution. The acting president of the body said the Sikhs could not have faith in the constitution because of the draconian laws in it.
Even the all party meeting could not find a solution as most of the political parties were enemies of the Sikhs. He criticized the Statement of VP Singh that his govt would crush militancy. The govt was pursuing the policy inherited from the Congress I he said.
Shamsher Singh said the struggle for Khalistan would continue.
