SAN JOSE, CA: The Babbar Khalsa International salutes Jathedar Talwinder Singh Babbar, one of the originators of the Khalistan freedom movement who has sacrificed his life: the armed Struggle for the freedom of Khalistan. We pay homage to this great Sikh martyr. Jathedar Talwinder Singh Babbar had been on the forefront of the Khalistan freedom movement. He was instrumental in the release of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale from the jail in 1981 when he was arrested in the case of Lala Jagat Narain. Jathedar Talwinder Singh Babbar and Jathedar Sukhdev Singh Babbar executed several actions together in Jalandhar and Tarn Taran to secure the release of Sant Jamail Singh Bhindranwale. We fully acknowledge his contribution to Babbar Khalsa International and the Sikh Nation in Khalistan and abroad.
He had performed extremely well in the Daheru police encounter where police inspector Bajwa was killed and Amarjit Singh Babbar of village Daheru was martyred,
Jathedar Talwinder Singh and Inderjit Singh Riyat have been falsely accused of downing an Air India Boeing 747 in 1985. Babbar Khalsa International does not believe in killing innocent people. According to the writer of “Soft Target” a book published in Canada, that airplane was downed by an India intelligence agency, RAW (Research And Analysis Wing) to suppress the Sikhs uprising against the Indian government after the Operation Blue Star, by showing them as terrorists. Babbar Khalsa International resolves to continue the struggle for Khalistan, the independent Sikh State and put an end to the Hindu rule of oppression in India. Our struggle for Khalistan will continue unabated, even with greater force, until our goal is achieved, Although Babbar Khalsa International has recently suffered a setback, we are becoming stronger than ever before under the leadership of Jathedar Wadhawa Singh Babbar, The Indian government is mistaken if it thinks that the Sikh Freedom fighters are on the run. The Indian government can only guess what Babbar Khalsa will do next. We are following the footsteps of Guru Gobind Singh Ji who taught us to stand up for our rights and righteousness. We will continue the fight till victory. The martyrdom of Jathedar Talwinder Singh Babbar will continue to be a source of strength and encouragement for us.
