NEW DELHI: Indian defense minister Sharad Pawar Friday said there is no proposal for talks at the prime ministers or defense ministers’ level between India and Pakistan to discuss the border situation.
Replying to a spate of supplementary ta question relating to a series of incidents of firing from Pakistan side recently, be told the lower house of parliament that at the secretaries level talks last month it was agreed that such incidents should not occur.
He told R-Prem Kumar Dhumal of the Bharatiya Janata Party that two military delegations were sent from India recently which held detailed discussions on these types of incidents, Now there were not as many incidents taking place as -used to in the past,
“There is a little improvement in the border situation now,” Pawar said.
