NEW DELHI: Delhi police has rounded up 110 persons in a large scale raids on Sikh homes in the wake of bomb blast at New Delhi railway station on June 12 which left nine persons dead and more than fifty injured.
36 persons are detained for interrogation 75 persons have since ‘been let off. The raids were conducted at several residential areas southwest of Delhi including Sikh religious places.
Meanwhile Delhi police has announced a reward of 50,000 for a clue.
PATTI: Some freedom fighters ambushed a C.R.P.F Patrol Party near village Thakarwal killing two Jawans on the spot. The killed have been identified as Nau Nihal Singh and Darshan Lal. One more Jawan has been admitted in hospital in serious condition.
Police claimed that the freedom fighters escaped when police returned fire. The police rescue patrol party also arrived later.
