* Dr. Rajinder Kaur Khalsa, a lecturer in Philosophy in a college in Pune was arrested under the Terrorist Act in connection with offences relating to the assassination of General Vaidya.
Mr. Hans Raja along with two others was killed by scooter borne gunmen in Jullundur. Mr Hans Raj’s sister is married to Harbans Singh Narang, the prime accused the Delhi transistor bomb case. It is stated that he got his sister arrested when she came to Jullundur after the arrest of her husband; it is suspected that the murder of Hans Raj was in retaliation for his role in the arrest of his sister.
