NEW DELHI: A new political party Jawan Kisan Mazdur party (JKM) made its debut on the national scene on Wednesday promising to fight for the rights of ex-servicemen farmers and laborers by bringing about a total peaceful revolution in the country.
The party will contest 50% of parliament seats in the coming elections either by putting up their own candidates or by supporting honest candidates belonging to other parties the JKM president Brig (retd) B S Dahiya told a press conference here. He said 40 years of dynastic rule supported by money and muscle power had denied socio-economic justice to the soldiers and toiling farmers of the country.
While not naming which party’s candidates the JKM would support Brig Dahiya said the newly-formed party was opposed to the Mandal Kamandal and Bandal camps
We will support any candidate who is committed to securing the rights of the poor farmers and ex-servicemen he said.
