CHANDIGARH: A new militant body named the “Khalistan Kashmir Liberation Organization” has been formed with its headquarters at Anandpur Sahib.
A Press note received here today by post said Abdul Akhtar and Ajit Singh were the President and General Secretary of the Organization. An Executive consisting of six Sikhs and five Muslims had been formed. It would strive to bring the Sikhs and the Muslims closer, educate the people about the need for Khalistan and an independent Kashmir and establish liaison with other militant organization’s operating in Punjab and Kashmir.
