BEKING, Nov. 28, Reuter: China’s Yu Zhicheng set a new ‘Asian record in the men’s 110 meters hurdles at the national games at canton on Saturday, the New China news agency said.
He clocked 13, 72 seconds, improving his own Asian best mark of 13.82 seconds which was set on July 8,
1985, in Barcelona, Spain.
Li Jinbao China shot a new Asian record in the men’s air pistol shooting event, collecting 584 points into his qualification round and then 100.7 points in the finals for a total of 684.7 points. Previous Asian best was 683.4 points set by China’s Asia champion Xu Hiafeng who finished only fourth on Saturday.
