The Dutchmen meet Kenya in Saturday’s semifinals while Pakistan’s loss means they must face historical rivals India, ‘who headed pool B.
In Thursday’s other pool a match snatched a 21 win over Malaysia but the result had no bearing on the semifinal berths.
Pakistan had the better of the first half against the Netherlands and went ahead through an Arif Bhopali goal in the Sits minute.
But the superbly fit Dutchmen steadily wore down their opponents and clinched the match with goals in the 61st and 66th minutes by Erik Parlevliet and Marc Delissen respectively.
