KATHMANDU: A high level Nepalese delegation left for New Delhi on Monday to hold talks with Indian officials in connection with the resumption of trade and transit between the two countries.
The chief spokesman of the Nepalese government said in his weekly briefing here that the two day meeting on February 20 and 21 would be attended by foreign, commerce and defense secretaries besides other officials.
He said Nepalese government was seeking an early settlement of the outstanding bilateral problems with India.
The spokesman said that the foreign ministers of India and Nepal were to meet in Kathmandu next month following the official level talks.
