KOHIMA (PTI): Neiba Ndang was March 18 elected speaker of the eighth legislative assembly of the northeastern Indian state of Nagaland unopposed. The Congress (1), which has Strength of 35 in the 60member house and enjoys the support of seven independents, had fielded Ndang for the post.
