NANAIMO: NDP leader Audrey McLaughlin said her party might support Liberals if they form a minority government after Oct.25 federal elections. But this support will be only if Liberal leader Jean Chretian agreed to kill the North American Free Trade Agreement. McLaughlin said, “It is essential to the future of Canada that we stop NAFTA.” Jean Chretian refused to comment on the formation of a minority government and said, “We are winning a majority.”
