CHANDIGARH: Indian government nominated V.N. Narayanan to the Press Council of India as one of its members even as a subcommittee of the council comprising, among others, veteran journalist B.G verges, had found him guilty of misconduct, But the full house of the council is missed the case against the Tribune editor later on technical, rather than on grounds of merit.
