YUBA CITY, Ca.; The third yearly Nand Lal Noorpuri Award giving ceremony by Punjabi Sahit Sabha, Yuba City, CA,, is going to be held on October 31, 1987, on Saturday.
This year award is going to be presented to Mr. Gurcharan Singh Rampur, the well-known Punjabi poet. All interested in Punjabi literature are most cordially invited to attend this function.
The Programme is as follows: first session will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in which. award giving ceremony will be held.
the second session will be from’ 500 p.m. to 8:00 pm. which will be devoted to discussions and problems facing the Punjabi literature in India and abroad.
