LUDHIANA: Forensic experts have been summoned from Chandigarh and Jalandhar to ascertain the cause of a blast on the GT road here which did not leave behind any trace.
A car driver, Raghbir Singh, was injured in the blast, which took place opposite the Dada Motors Complex around 3:30 p.m., a few hours after the Chief Minister, Beant Singh’s convoy had passed through the route. The Chief Minister took the same route on his way back to Chandigarh around 45 minutes after the blast. The blast site is around 40 feet off the road.
No splinters or other signs of the blast were visible on the spot.
