RODE (FARIDKOT): More than 5000 Sikhs paid tributes to Mata Nihal Kaur mother of Sant Baba Jamail Singh Bhindranwale at her bhog ceremony held here on Sunday. She died last week.
Speaking on the occasion Akali leader Sukhjinder Singh suggested that Sikhs should celebrate the martyrdom day of Sant Bhindranwale but the move was opposed by Bhai Jasbir Singh on the ground that Sant Bhindranwale was still alive and was well wherever he was. There was no need for celebrating the day he said.
