MODESTO: The Sikh Sangat (Congregation) of Modesto-Ceres unequivocally denounces the destruction of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. This is yet another example of the intolerance of the majority community and perpetuates the victimization of Minorities in India.
Today, we stand with our Muslim brothers and condemn the unprovoked attack upon their Religion. Furthermore, we view any attack on one religion as an attack on all Religions.
We warn the Indian Government to rectify its anti-minorities stand and notice the winds of freedom sweeping the Globe. The overt and covert support of Hindu Extremists has not gone unnoticed. The World is watching; you cannot hide your atrocities forever.
