ROME: After 12 years on the run, the woman with “the eyes of ice” who reputedly directed a crime syndicate for her imprisoned brother was arrested Monday outside Naples. Rosetta Cutolo’s arrest was the second major strike by authorities against organized crime in less than a month. On Jan.15, the man believed to be the Sicilian Mafia’s “boss of bosses,” Salvatore “Toto” Riina was arrested in Palermo after being a fugitive for 23 years.
