SRINAGAR: The captors of two kidnapped Swedes said their release was under serious consideration.
The Muslim Janbaz Force (MJF) said this in a letter addressed to the United Nations Secretary General Mr Javier Perez de Cuellar copies of which were distributed to the press here.
Mr Johan Jansson and Mr JohanOle Loman engineers of Uri hydro-electric project were abducted by activists of MJF on March 31 on Tangmarg highway.
“We fervently believe and hope that this letter may graciously prompt the world body and your excellency to perform the obligations and commitment towards upholding the dignity of human values and in fulfillment of the genuine and legitimate aspiration of people of Kashmir in determining their future” the letter said.
