AIZAWL: The Mizoram Janata Dal on Dec.7 said that it had spumed the offer of the Mizo National Front to form the new government with them, on the eve of the swearing-in of the Congress MJD coalition ministry scheduled for Wednesday. Confirming that the MNF had approached his party to form a coalition ministry with them instead of the Congress, Brig Sailo, the MJD president said, he had outright rejected the offer.

“All the eight MJD legislators are solid and they cannot be purchased,” he said.
