Ludhiana: Punjab Congress (I) Vice President Sat Paul Mital died in Ludhiana in the Northern Indian state of Punjab Sunday after a massive heart attack. He was 62.
His wife Lata Mittal and his son Om Parkash Mital were at his side when he died.
Mittal had met Premier Narasimha Rao only the night before.
