Srinagar: A militant, Mushtag Ahmad, was killed in a group clash between two rival militant outfits at Gund Nawgam on the outskirts of Srinagar while two bodies were recovered from Narbal and Nawakadal on July 2, the spokesman said.
Seven persons were injured when militants hurled a grenade on security forces in Baramulla town on Thursday. A security personnel was injured in an exchange of fire with militant sat Mithan colony in Srinagar. The spokesman said eight militants including a self-styled platoon commander of a militant outfit were arrested by security forces during crackdown operations in the valley.
