NEW DELHI: Politicians may win or lose, but fortune tellers continue to do a roaring business. While it might be debatable whether predictions of the astrologers have come true or not, foretasting a midterm poll.
Hundreds of astrologers across the country are now locked in heated debate on who stands the best chance of becoming the nation’s next Prime Minister.
Some of them have also reportedly handed over costly prescriptions of prayers and religious rituals to negate the adverse factors in the horoscopes of aspirants in the race.
A leading astrologer from south had forecast that the opposition would get a majority and one of its leaders would don the mantle the leadership of the country.
The same astrologers said while the planetary positions were more or less similar for the ruling and Opposition parties, the latter had a favorable period from mid Nov ember 1989. (PTI).
