SACRAMENTO: The WSO arranged small business conference on May 12 through the good offices of Assemblyman Phillip Isenberg of 10th district in room no 26 of the Capital Mall. Mr. Eric Wat kin small business development specialist, Paul Oliva Research Analyst World Trade Commission, Stim Suzuki chief small and minority business’ and Bobby Haynes Zone Licensing Manager McDonalds Corp participated.

Dr. Gurcharan Singh Dhillon president WSO (USA) introduced Hon Phillip Isenberg who is Chairman Assembly panel on judiciary and is on committees on election Reapportionment and constitutional amendments, health revenue taxation, water parks and wildlife.

Hon Phillip Isenberg welcomed the audience and said that he is very much interested in the development of minority communities. He had visited Sikh temple number of times and is proud of his participation in community activities.

Mr. Eric Watkins explained the role of small business in the consume Oliva research analyst World Trade Commission explained the various facilities and help his office provides in export business.

Stim Suzuki explained the difficulties of small business and especially of minorities and the way his offices help them to overcome. He stressed for the need to put in hard work and the support of the family in making the small business successful.

Bobby Heynes informed the audience about McDonald’s franchise and how new and old franchise are sold. He informed that requirement to get into the business of McDonald’s is the capacity to put in more hours and ready to do all the chores of business like janitorial chef and counter service along with the capacity to invest $60,000 to 250,000. All the desirous candidates had to undergo a training 2-3 years putting 20 hours a week.

In the end Dr. Gurcharan Singh thanked the assemblyman, the participants and the audience.
