COLUSA (CA): It is an extremely sad day when a parent must bury a child. One’s heart goes out to families who suffer such a loss. One family in our own community has just lost the promise of their future since on Sunday morning one son was killed and another injured in a tragic auto accident.
Two brothers and their two friends were on their way home from Lake Tahoe heading for Sacramento on Hwy.50 when the driver apparently fell asleep lost control of the car and hit a guard rail.
The driver Parwinder S.Gill a 25-year-old medical student at U.C. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. His younger brother Raminder S. Gill 21 is in critical condition at U.C. Med Center where he remains in a coma.
The two passengers were treated for minor injuries and released.
Parwinder S.Gill is survived by his father Sucha S.Gill and his mother Gurcharan Kaur of Colusa California.
Funeral arrangements have not been made as the family awaits the recovery of their youngest and only other child. Presently they are hoping and praying for his speedy recovery.
It is a small comfort thinking that God may have needed their son more than they did.
Our condolences to the family and our prayers for the recovery of their child Raminder.
