BIRMINGHAM: Condemning the massacre of Muslims in Bhagalpur and the deliberate buildup of anti-Muslim frenzy over the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya the Deputy Prime Minister of Khalistan Government-in-exile, Mr. Bhagwant Singh has invited the Muslim and other religious minorities in India to join hands with the Sikhs to liquidate the Hindu fascism.

“The Indian rulers have proved time and again that the religious minorities are expendable pawns in their power game,” he said. “Be they Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, and Buddhists are Dalit’s, nine is immune from the onslaught of the fanaticism of the Hindu majority for the simple reason that the ruling fascists depend upon the votes of this fanatical majority for retaining power.”

He said’ that in spite of their claims to secularism and democracy, the Congress leadership panders to the Hindu communalists, tacitly encourages their excesses, even connives at their sprees of killing, looting and humiliating the religious minorities to ensure that Hindu votes will continue returning them to power.

“So long as these minorities remain divided, each fighting its own battles none will ever be able to live in peace and dignity in South Asia,” he said. “But by joining hands and coordinating their efforts, they can defeat Hindu fanaticism and usher in an era of security and dignity for all.”

He said that his Government would be glad to initiate dialogue with the leaders of the Muslim and other religious minorities for evolving a workable formula for coordinating their respective efforts for maximum impact.

“Like the proverbial flock of sparrows caught in a hunter’s net, the minorities can break free if they join hands and coordinate their efforts,” he added.
