ROPAR: Simranjit Singh Mann, the detained Akali Dal (Mann) president has hailed the victory of Mr Nawaz Sharif and the party, the Islamic Jamhooni Ittehad (IJ]), in the general elections of Pakistan.
This was stated here on Sunday by Mr Man Singh Advocate, counsel for Mr Simranjit Singh Mann .Addressing a press conference Mr Mann Singh claimed that he had met the detained Akali leader in the central jail of Amritsar on Friday.
Mr Mann Singh said the Akali Dal (Mann) president was critical the stand taken by the Bharat Janata Party on the Ram Temple Babri Masjid Issue, Mr Mann Singh wanted to send a jatha of Sikhs Ayodhya to protect the religious shrine of the Muslims.
