NEW DELHI: Sparks flew in the Lok Sabha on Dec.30 when Ghuman Mal Lodha (Bharatiya Janata Party) alleged that Finance Minister Manmohan Singh had reprimanded a director of the Central Board of Direct Taxes for conducting raids on the premises of Harshad Mehta.
The Finance Minister just could not restrain himself He hit back that is the fascist mentality of the BJP. It is a totally unsubstantiated charge and. unmitigated lie uttered by the BJP member I challenge him to prove or to resign Otherwise I shall resign from the public life.
