AMRITSAR: Sikh militant leader Baba Gurbachan Singh Manochahal has disowned Bhai Manjit Singh’s appointment by the S.G.P.C. as acting Jathedar of Akal Takhat. Baba Manochahal rejected the appointment. On the other hand, A.LS.S.F. Leader Manjit Singh in a statement also rejected the appointment of Bhai Manjit Singh as acting” jathedar of Akal Takhat. Earlier, Akali leader Simranjit Singh Mann had criticized the appointment on the ground that consensus of various Sikh organizations had not been sought by the S.GP.C. Before making the appointment.
