BATHINDA: Punjab police chief D.S.Mangat claimed here that 215 “hard core militants” were operating in the State at present.
He said that infiltration of armed militants from across Indo-Pak border along Punjab had been checked following sealing of the border but the Rajasthan-Pakistan border was still porous. The DGP said a new method of “catching” militants had been devised but refrained from spelling it out.
