NEW YORK: South African nationalist leader Nelson Mandela has confirmed that he would soon visit India shortly.
The confirmation came during a brief meeting Indian ambassador to the United Nations CR Gharekhan had with Mandela during airport reception of his arrival on Wednesday.
While greeting Mandela Gharekhan said India is looking forward to his visit and would welcome him anytime.
In reply, Mandela confirmed that he would visit India shortly.
