NEW DELHI (PTI): Almost the entire fifth floor of the Krishi Bhavan, housing the rural development ministry headquarters near Parliament here, was gutted in a devastating fire Oct. 16 injuring at least 10 people.
The fire which broke out in the “G” Wing in the third floor of the building steadily spread to the fourth and fifth Noors which suffered extensive damage.
At least 40 fire tenders and scores of snorkels were pressed into service to douse the fire.
