LUDHIANA: Ludhiana boys and girls scored a smashing victory in the 16th Punjab Aquatic Championships here recently, the boys were crowned victorious by the 120 points they garnered, while the girls scored 86.
The runners up teams were Bathinda boys with 44 points and Patiala girls with 76,
Rajinder Kumar (Ludhiana) with 50 points in Group I and Tarlochan Singh (Ferozepore) with 42 points in Group I ere adjudged best swimmers among boys.
Mohan Preet (Ludhiana) with 30 points in Group I and Jaslovleen Sekhon (Ludhiana) with 51 in Group II were adjudged best swimmers among girls.
On the final day Jaslovieen Sekhon created two new records in 200 metres.
