BANGALORE: A five member armed gang suspected to be LTTE members robbed the Vijaya Bank at Mudenahalli, 40kilometers from here of Rs 65,000 in cash and Rs 48,000 worth of Jewelry after locking up the employees in a room on last Wednesday morning. According to Additional Director General of Police (Law & Order), S.C. Burman, the gang members entered the bank and one of them entered the cashier’s cabin on the pretest to enquire about details for opening fan account. He whipped outa revolve and asked him to hand over all the cash. The other members of the gang pushed the six bank employees and locked them up in a room.
