NEW DELHI(PTI): The Indian joint venture firm Larson and Toubro is planning to manufacture bowling plant machinery for the multinational Coca Cola company, it was reported hereon Oct.1.

The Economic Times reported that L&T had already held discussions with Coke and was planning to manufacture bottling lines that can produce 600 bottles per minute to Coke’s specifications.

The company is al present scouting around for the technology abroad and is likely to finalize its technical collaboration soon, the daily said.

Land T, which earlier manufactured bottling lines largely for the dairy industry, had moved to Pouch filling machinery for the dairy industry.
