KUALA LUMPUR, (PTI): Shivraj V Patil, the speaker of Lok Sabha, the lower house of Indian parliament, arrived here enroute to Australia.
Patil, heading an Indian parliamentary delegation to Canberra, is scheduled to meet his Malaysian counterpart Mohamed Zahir Ismail; He will also call on the speaker of the Upper House of Malaysian legislature. G. Vadiveloo,
Patil and the nine-member delegation will study the systems and procedures for televising parliamentary proceedings in Malaysia and also in Singapore.
The delegation’s visit to Australia is under bilateral exchange of parliamentary delegations, Patil will soon leave for Singapore.
