CHANDIGARH: The working committee of Akali Dal (Longowal) which has a small presence in are solution has sought fresh election in the state, The committee which met under the chairmanship of Kabul Singh said that while the people of rural Punjab had expressed their lack of confidence in the Congress (I) in February, the urban voters also rejected the party’s government in the course of recent municipal poll. The state government should therefore reign to pave the way for fresh election.
